2025 iPad Air will be powered by M3 processor
One of the most striking features of Apple’s next tablet will be the development on the processor side. The technology giant, which announced the M4 processor for the iPad Pro in recent months, will allegedly use the M3 processor in the new iPad air. Compared to the M2 in the current Air model, the more powerful processor provides 30 per cent higher performance.
The M3 processor, which also offers 15 per cent faster graphics performance than the M2, is much more powerful than the previous version, although not as fast as the M4. Equipped with more advanced features for battery life, the M3 processor stands out as a processor that can be used for games and applications.
However, thanks to iPadOS 18, it is inevitable that Apple Intelligence features will come to the 2025 iPad Air with M3 processor, since Apple Intelligence has come even to Air models with M2 processors. Very important changes are not expected on the screen side. However, Wi-Fi features can also be switched to Wi-Fi 7 version.
In terms of design, a new design was introduced in the 2024 model, but no changes are expected for the model to be introduced in 2025. Only Air with 11-inch and 13-inch screens is expected. There will be an aluminium body, straight edges, and curved corners, as well as a Touch ID power button and USB-C charging port.
